The Honeyheads were all brought up by their older brothers who fed them french films, naïve pop music and too much love, which is why they’ll never feel old enough to work. After only two years of existence, the group split up in 1998, leaving a legacy of 4 four-track demo songs which – though never released – soon became legendary. During the 6 following years, Nico and Henning try to grow up, actually, they try real hard to try. Luckily, they fail blatantly in these efforts and retire to the sand-pit where they fall in love with their soul- and future bandmates Leif and Martina.So in 2006, the Honeyheads are reunited, sounding „as if they had always been waiting for each other“ (Henning’s older brother).
Katzenkönig ist eine Formation, die seit drei Jahren besteht. Die fünf Musiker spielen neben Gitarre, Bass und Schlagzeug auch drei Synthesizer und verzichten dabei gänzlich auf Gesang. Der Ansatz bei Katzenkönig war immer, aus Improvisationen einzelne Strukturen zu erarbeiten, die Live allein als eine Art Fundament dienen sollten, um genügend Spielraum für Unerwartetes zu lassen.
So war bisher jedes Konzert anders und erst im Laufe der Zeit zeichneten sich eine Hand voll Songs ab. Die Freiräume dazwischen blieben ..
Belvedere Swim Team ist die dritte Band und macht auch Musik!
